Managing Partner, Gilmartin Capital

David Lewis is the Managing Partner of Gilmartin Capital, a firm he founded in 2021. For the previous 15 years, David was the Head of Medical Device Equity Research at Morgan Stanley, where he covered more than $1.5 trillion in market capitalization and evaluated over 150 M&A and IPO events. During his tenure at Morgan Stanley, David was the top ranked US Equity analyst in Medical Supplies & Devices. Before his time at Morgan Stanley, David was a Partner at Thomas Weisel Partners. David is a key thought leader in the sector, with decades of experience advising medical device companies and boards on strategic and financial direction. David graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors and a focus on pre-medical studies.
